Purpose
To develop the qualities required to optimise the performance of the shoulders and protect against injury and pain.
The initial focus is on functional shoulder mobility to improve the glenohumeral (shoulder joint) dynamics together with some low level resistance work to wake up the deep shoulder stabilisers.
Continues to develop mobility at the same time as progressing the resistance exercises designed to improve overall muscle balance around the shoulders.
Brings it all together by concentrating on more dynamic exercises that will build the resilience necessary to protect your shoulders against future injury.
Used for Soft Tissue Mobilisation of small muscle groups and for releasing sensitive trigger points.
Used for various muscle activation and strengthening exercises.
Used to anchor the resistance band.
Used for myofascial (connective tissue) release and some mobility exercises.
Used for mobility and exercises.
Soft ball used for muscle activation exercises.
Used for some resistance exercises.
The approximate cost of purchasing all of the equipment is £100. This obviously reduces if you are already in possession of some of the items.
