Neck & MId Back [Prehab] Programme Schedule

Week 01

The initial focus is on functional mobility through the mid back, shoulders, and neck regions to improve joint dynamics together with some low level strength work to activate all the important stabilising muscles.

Week 02

Continues to develop functional mobility and introduces some vital exercises that will improve the mobility of key nerve pathways running between the neck, shoulders and arms. Commonly overlooked in conditioning programmes.

Week 03

The emphasis shifts a little more towards strength and introduces the importance of core stability as an integral part of improving the health and function of the mid back, shoulders & neck.

Week 04

Brings it all together by concentrating on more dynamic exercises that will build the resilience necessary to protect you against injury to these areas.

Used for soft tissue mobilisations that target small muscle groups and trigger point release.
